Special Phone in Programme with Financial Secretary Paul Chan On Friday, a special phone-in to the Financial Secretary Paul Chan.
Between 8 and 9am call in on 23388266 or email firstname.lastname@example.org with questions and comments for the FS on this week's budget. In his last budget John Tsang forecast a surplus of $11 billion, but it turns out that the Government raised $93 billion more than it spent. Despite this, the sweeteners for the coming year are actually less than last year, and more surpluses are expected in the future. A unit will also be set up to examine the international competitiveness of our tax regime and to address the supposed problem of a narrow tax base. What do you like or dislike in the budget. How does it deal with short and long term issues? Let Paul Chan know what you think.Remember it's earlier than the regular programme 8am-9. call in on 23388266 or email email@example.com.
