A very good morning to you from the Morning Brew team; Comrade Whelan can’t be with us this morning – he won a free ticket on the high speed train to Beijing – he’s now trying to win a trip back (maybe Wednesday).
I'm Peter King, hopefully making your Monday a little easier, and later on a couple of guests for you to meet. As usual, Robbie McRobbie joins us after the news at ten, and Dave Simpson an hour later to talk about Saturday’s Irish run. In addition, a collection of radio rarities, and some new stuff, plus the latest stories from news services from around the world. If you’d like to be part of it, just email radiopete@gmail, or you can text in to the show on 6393-5925 (9:30am-1pm, email email@example.com )
Today on Morning Brew we welcome back our Misery Correspondent Gypsy Rose Vines with his crystal ball, at 10.10. This week the CE delivered her policy address in less time it will take for a mainland cop to lift you for walking in a splittest manner on the XLR platform, but that news seems to have been considerably overshadowed by the "sending back" at the airport yesterday of a UK Conservative Party Activist, who apparently only really wanted to pop in for a cup of tea. Stay with us to find out what Steve thinks of these and other current issues in Asia's World Microcosm. After 11.30, it's our weekly animal spot, but today with ER specialist Dr. Faye Cable. Dr. Dave is away competing in an Iron Man Competition this week! At 12.30, our super looper and composer in residence Glen Lloyd aka JUNK! joins us in the studio for his weekly show-off-on-Facebook Live session. (9:30am-1pm, email firstname.lastname@example.org )
