Jarrod Watt – Aussie journalist / Merrin Pearse – Sustainability Strategist / Morris Miselowski – Business Futurist / Paul French – Death at the Airport

It's Tuesday on Morning Brew and at 10.10 it's all the latest from Aus. A skip through this week, this year, this decade, and 10 years ago, is how Jarrod Watt will be stitching up the Australia/China story today. The Aussie PM quoting China’s original Communist slogan in Putonghua. A campaign by a Senator to stop a meeting between a Labour MP and a pro-democracy professor in Hong Kong. And, a treaty Australia signed with China under John Howard that’s still not law, because of...a law. At 10.40 Dr. Merrin Pearse returns after three weeks in Kiwi, to talk about how working with nature is the in thing in his home country. At 12.10 Business Futurist Morris Miselowski joins us for his weekly look into the crystal ball. Among other things the US President stays ahead of the curve by wanting to send astronauts to the moon. Apparently the sun is going to pay for it. We wrap up today at 12.40 by welcoming back (on the line from the UK) best selling author and historian Paul French, who's going to talk about the end of an era in Shanghai. Also a great radio piece (which is available on the BBC iPlayer) he narrated on BBC Radio 4 called "Death at the Airport: The Plot Against Kim Jong-nam".
