Good morning and welcome to Tuesday. Today we begin earlier after the 9 news. Due to this morning's MTR problems we can't bring you Backchat. They'll return on Thursday. We kick off at 9.40 with Eco Boy Dr. Merrin Pearse who will talk about today being World Food Day, and a little about last week’s Policy Address. After 10 all the news that’s fit to broadcast from our antipodean correspondent Jarrod Watt. At 11.10 we’ll find out about a great Canadian invention, the Terry Fox Run Hong Kong, which is happening on November 3rd. It has its own very inspirational story, and it now happens all over the world. Macy Lau, who is the Co-Chair of TFRHK will tell you how to take part. At 11.40 we talk about the upcoming “Heritage Vogue-Hollywood Road” Street Carnival with award-winning jazz pianist, composer, and arranger Patrick Lui. After 12 we catch up with Business Futurist Morris Miselowski who joins us on the line from Melbourne. Today in 1923 the Disney Company was founded, so we’ll talk about the future of cinema.
Welcome to Thursday on Morning Brew. At 10.10 Steve Vines joins us for his weekly look at the funny pages. Unless of course, even though he's a world class journalist with over 40 years experience at the top of his game, a former newspaper editor, international correspondent for some of the UK's best known papers including The Guardian‚ The Daily Telegraph‚ and The Independent, plus regularly appearing live on the BBC and Al Jazeera...it may simply slip his mind to be with us today. Hey Ho.Next! At 11.40, Vet Dr. David Gething will be with us to talk about happy...or not...multi pet households, and of course answer any questions you may have. After 12, Chris Watts talks about new info on coconut oil, neuroplasticity, baddd sugar, and a bit of bending. Our composer in residence JUNK! aka Glen Lloyd will be back to wrap things up at 12.40 with his usual brand of instamatic music making. Join us on Facebook Live.
