Welcome to a new week on Morning Brew. We're off to New York at 9.40 to catch up with author and correspondent Tracy Quan. At 10.10 Robbie McRobbie will tell us all about his Super Rugby weekend, and of course give us all the upcoming local and Asian news. As tomorrow is a holiday, Dr. Merrin Pearse joins us today at 10.40 with this week's eco news. From here on in its music all the way, as after 11 world renowned Italian Cellist Giovanni Gnocchi will will be with us to talk about his recital this evening with a difference "Speaking, Singing, Dancing...". At 11.40 we welcome super HK based singer Debbie Mannas to introduce you to her brand new album "Deborah". And, after 12 Keith Goodman from top rockers The Sleeves, will proudly show off their new album...Deliverance. (9:30am-1pm, email email@example.com )
Welcome to Morning Brew. It's Fat Thursday today (apparently), so Steve Vines is the perfect person to join us after 10. This week: In a shock-horror surprise we learn that the government's tendering procedures err...don't work that well. A bunch of young HK guys being nominated for a small peace prize is likely to...wait for it...offend the entire population of China...yes, every single person. And, another former senior member of the cleanest government in the world looks like he's about to have some home affairs of his own to take care of. Namely, who plays Mummy and who plays Daddy? After 11, a serious musical treat. We welcome Lithuanian accordion virtuoso Martynas Levickis to The Brew with his axe. He'll be performing with, and directing The City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong tomorrow night. MB Vet Dr. David Gething will be with us at 11.40 to talk...eyes. We wrap up as usual at 12.40 with more music and goings on from DJ and composer JUNK! aka Glen Lloyd. Join us on Facebook Live for the musical bits of today's programme.
