Carolyn Wright and Paul Haswell (AKA the Pop Fugitives) are plotting to make their Escape every Sunday morning between 9.30 and 1.
Carrying on from where they left off on Saturday nights on RTHK Radio 3, join them to hear excellent music, including tracks from their album of the week, as well as interviews and live music in the studio about upcoming events they think you ought to hear about, plus a selection of their favourite tracks from a different year each week.
Added to that they’ll be reviewing new movies, alongside much irreverent chit chat and interviews about food, drink and fun in HK, there’ll even be a bit of sport!
This Sunday the Pop Fugitives will he bringing a flavour of all things Clockenflap- music, art, food and drink, hopefully chatting with some of the bands!
Paul has been playing Tetris Effect, in the odd spare moment he’s had, so we’ll be chatting about that too.
They’ll also be playing a heap of new music, delving into a box set, and eating biscuits!
This Sunday the Pop Fugitives will be joined in the studio by John Guest of board game cafe Jolly Thinkers. He has recently returned from the world's biggest board game event in Essen, Germany, so he'll be on hand to round up the best of the new releases he got to see (and may even have had a chance to play some more by now), so they'll be asking him for his top tips for Christmas presents and more.
Plus, continuing Paul's retro gaming theme, this week saw the release of the SNK 40th Anniversary collection for Switch, which brings together a collection of the legendary studio's best games.
There's also the Macau Grand Prix this weekend, so Tim Huxley will be on hand from the other SAR for all the latest updates.
Finally, what would the show be without a heap of new music, what's in the box set, an album of the week and biscuits! (Sundays, 9.30am-1pm)
This Sunday the Pop Fugitives will be live from the Hong Kong T20 Blitz cricket tournament at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground. They'll be trying to catch up with some of the action, chatting with players and tournament organisers and finding the best ways to stay warm!
They'll also be keeping up with the music, playing a heap of new tunes, picking an album of the week, seeing what's in the box set and attempting to find some cricket themed biscuits...
