Carolyn Wright and Paul Haswell (AKA the Pop Fugitives) are plotting to make their Escape every Sunday morning between 9.30 and 1.
Carrying on from where they left off on Saturday nights on RTHK Radio 3, join them to hear excellent music, including tracks from their album of the week, as well as interviews and live music in the studio about upcoming events they think you ought to hear about, plus a selection of their favourite tracks from a different year each week.
Added to that they’ll be reviewing new movies, alongside much irreverent chit chat and interviews about food, drink and fun in HK, there’ll even be a bit of sport!

This week the Pop Fugitives will be joined in the studio by Paul Thompson of the Red Stripes. He'll be giving them the lowdown on the upcoming Endless Summer Hong Kong International Reggae Ska Festival, which is happening at PMQ on August 26th. He'll be playing tracks by a few of the artists who will be on stage, as well as telling us about the excitement of having ska legend Neville Staple in town. There may even be reggae themed biscuits!
Paul has been totally immersed in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, fighting his way though a hellish underworld and dealing with psychosis. Sounds deeply unpleasant. Carolyn is more interested to hear how well the binaural soundtrack worked.
There'll also be their album of the week, a heap of new tunes, what's in the box set and some very exciting musically themed eclipse news!
