節目以傳统粵曲理論為基礎，介紹工尺叮板等基礎知識、講述各種體系（板腔體的梆子、二簧，歌謠體、小曲、口白、滚花、鑼鼓）的要點，以及分享粵曲小知識。

The programme offers a look at the traditional theories of Cantonese Opera, by introducing the basic knowledge about the ancient Chinese forms of musical and rhythmic notation, illustrating the features of different vocal delivery styles as well as sharing some interesting knowledge of Cantonese Opera.
