節目旨在為香港髮型業作一個發展記錄。由最早期街邊剪頭髮的檔口，到50至60年代正宗上海理髮，至後來出現的女子理髮，都會一一向大家介紹。希望聽眾從香港髮型行業的變遷，領略到靈活多變、敢創新的香港精神。

The programme aims to make a record for the development of the hair-dressing industry in Hong Kong. It will introduce the history from haircut on the street in the earliest period, to the Shanghai-style barbershop in the 1950s to the 60s, to the subsequent Ladies' hair salon. It is hoped that the programme can reveal the Hong Kong spirits, which are flexibility and innovation, through the ups and downs of Hong Kong’s hair-dressing industry.
