香港地少人多，每吋土地皆不浪費。為求善用每吋土地，發展商想到地下樓梯底闢作舗位。惟市區重建及舗主退休，樓梯舗已買少見少。幸好，現時仍找到十三間不同行業的樓梯舗，惟部分地方將會重建，故節目或作歷史紀錄，見證時代。

Hong Kong is small but densely populated. Not an inch of land can go to waste. In order to make good use of every inch of land, developers came up with the idea of turning the space under the staircase into a shop. With urban redevelopment and shop owners retiring, such staircase shops are rare. Fortunately, we have located 13 staircase shops engaged in different industries. However, some of them will be closed due to redevelopment. Therefore, this programme may become a record of history, a witness of an era.
