On Friday's 123 Show, we're talking to ophthalmologist Dr Jason Yam, one of the awardees of 2021 Hong Kong Humanity Award, which is co-organised by the Hong Kong Red Cross and RTHK. Dr Yam joins us at 1.30 to talk about his eye care programme that provides free eye examination services for underprivileged children. After 2, Karen Koh joins us from Australia to talk about things that are happening Down Under. After 2.30, curator Lesley Cheung talks about presenting the "Rituals of Passage" exhibition , which aims to explore the parallels between the extraordinary years of 2003 and 2019-2021: from pandemics to politics.
On today's 123 Show, we're joined by Micha Gelber, a holocaust survivor, who's now in his eighties. He talks about his experiences of the various camps he was placed into during World War Two, and what this taught him about humanity.
