"The 1 2 3 Show", on Radio 3.
On Thursday's 123 Show, we ask how can journalists get the truth out, amid all the content and opinion generated and distributed by social media users -- much of it inaccurate, ill-informed or just false. Radio 3's Annemarie Evans caught up with George Brock, a veteran UK print journalist and visiting professor at City University of London. He was recently in Hong Kong to give a lecture on the challenges journalism faces in the social media era but also how more regulation could help. That's at 1.30. After 2, food and drink reporter Andrew Dembina talks about Singaporean food trends. (1:15pm-3pm, firstname.lastname@example.org)
On Friday's 123 Show, we look back at women’s history month in March on this week's Agender Cafe. While there are many famous women who've make their mark over the centuries, there are also many whose stories are untold but no less interesting. Our former RTHK colleague, Crystal Kwok, has been working on a documentary based on the story of her grandmother, a Chinese woman who grew up in the racially divided American south of the 1930s. Crystal joins Hosts Karen Koh and Noreen Mir to share more about her work and her grandmother's story. (1:15pm-3pm, email@example.com)
