On Friday's 123 Show, we're talking to Peter Sabine, the founder of local music record label Holjeng, about the independent music scene and how the pandemic has affected it. Join us on Facebook live at 1.30. After 2, we'll be talking about things we should never do during the Hungry Ghost Festival. Finally, after 2.30 it's our Friday music charts special. We'll be playing the top hits from the UK charts for the year 1974.
On Tuesday's 123 Show we're chatting with Benita Chick, the CEO and founder of Encompass HK, a social enterprise that promotes diversity and inclusion. Benita joins us at 1.30 to talk about their free Sustainable Development Goals programme for local students. The goals were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and with the hope that by 2030 all people would enjoy peace and prosperity. After 2, Andrew Dembina talks about the dish that's considered the champion of US theme parks in his global food and drinks report. After 2.30, our weekly "Two for 2" music feature. This week we'll hear two versions of the same song from different decades.
