The government is consulting on a plan to develop 340,000 square feet of the park - about 25% of the total, with five floors of facilities, accommodating an all-weather and barrier-free underground pedestrian network. Community space, retail/food and beverage and car-parking facilities are also included in the scheme 'to address imminent needs and enhance the use of underground space'. Will it make it easier to move around the area? Do we actually need more shops in TST? What sort of disturbance will there be during construction? Will the plan disrupt the environment or enjoyment of urban parks?
