Extradtion Bill Controversy and Foreign Interverence

On Tuesday's Backchat, we're talking about the latest developments in the extradition bill controversy.

What part have outside forces played? Has there been foreign interference? Even a 'colour revolution'? Or are such claims just an excuse? When does outside pressure become illegitimate? What do you make of protestors' latest tactics?

We'll be joined as usual by a panel of guests. But as always we also want to know what you think. Leave a message here and we’ll try and read it out on air. Or you can send us an email at backchat@rthk.hk, or call us on 23388266.

Digging Kowloon Park / Review of EU Elections

    主持人:Hugh Chiverton

On Monday's Backchat, digging Kowloon Park. The government is consulting on a plan to develop 340,000 square feet of the park - about 25% of the total, with five floors of facilities, accommodating an all-weather and barrier-free underground pedestrian network. Community space, retail/food and beverage and car-parking facilities are also included in the scheme 'to address imminent needs and enhance the use of underground space'. Will it make it easier to move around the area? Do we actually need more shops in TST? What sort of disturbance will there be during construction? Will the plan disrupt the environment or enjoyment of urban parks?

After 9.20, review of EU Elections.

Leave a message below and we’ll try and read it out on air. Leave a message below, email us at backchat@rthk.hk or call us on 23388266.
