The SCMP has reported that it has learned from sources that next week's NPC Standing Committee's meeting will discuss whether to allow those with British Nationals (Overseas) passports to hold public office.
Earlier, Regina Ip had called for Beijing to strip residents with foreign citizenship of their right to permanent residency. What do you think of the ideas? Should they apply to all foreign passport holders?

From 9:15am-9:30am, we'll be discussing Hong Kong's position in regional aviation after the launch of a new seaplane taxi service.

On Monday's Backchat latest developments in the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dozens of confirmed cases have been reported daily since last week, and now schools will close early for the summer.

New cases have been linked to an elderly care home, schools, and restaurants, while some taxi drivers have also been confirmed to be infected over the last couple of days.

How prepared are we for a new outbreak? Will it be harder or easier this time round? What more do we know now about the virus?
