On Mondays Backchat, the response to the latest anti-epidemic fund, and new woes for Prince Andrew.
The government has announced a 3.57-billion-dollar Covid relief package, aimed at helping businesses and individuals hit by the latest social distancing restrictions that will remain in place into Chinese New Year.
But many businesses are complaining that this isn’t nearly enough to offset the huge losses they’ll incur in this traditionally lucrative period… while lawmakers are also calling for another round of consumption vouchers for all.
What do you think about the government package? Is it enough? Or has the administration given enough to businesses already?
After 9.15am, we'll talk about British royal Prince Andrew, after he was stripped of military titles and royal patronages as he faces a civil sex abuse case in the United States.
