Sino-German relations / Hong Kong government reshuffle

On Friday’s Backchat we talk about changes in John Lee’s cabinet.

The Chief Executive announced his first reshuffle on Thursday at the mid-point of his five-year term, replacing transport minister Lam Sai-hung and tourism chief Kevin Yeung.
The former Permanent Secretary for Transport and Logistics Mable Chan, will now fill the seat as the new transport minster and Rosanna Law, will move from her former position as housing director to take up the culture, sports and tourism portfolio.
So why do you think the change was made now? What difference will it make?

Funding of NGOs / Family Planning Association's puberty booklet

    主持人:Janice Wong and Danny Gittings

On Thursday's Backchat, we're talking about the struggles faced by the city's social services NGOs.

A survey by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service found that nearly 86% suffer from staff shortages while 78% reported deficits, largely due to a drop in donations.
The council hopes that, in addition to more financial support, NGOs can also receive help with strategic planning, talent development and retention.
So what do you think can be done to help these bodies?
After 9:45, we speak to a representative of the Family Planning Association about a new book guiding teenagers through puberty.

    9:05am-9:45am: Funding of NGOs
