Lantau Tomorrow Vision / MTR Signaling System

On Wednesday's Backchat we will talk about the Lantau Tomorrow Vision. Secretary for Development Michael Wong estimates that the reclamation project will cost $624 billion, more than half the city's reserves, and the most expensive infrastructure project in the our history. He said despite the extremely high cost, the project will be worthwhile because it will greatly improve people's lives. Do we need it? Is it worth it?

After 9.20, continuing issues on the MTR.

Let us know your thoughts. You can leave a message on our Facebook page, Backchat on RTHK Radio 3, email us at backchat@rthk.hk, or give us a call on 23388266.
