On today's Money Talk, our panel of market experts providing an in-depth analysis of the US-China trade dispute and other business headlines consists of Stewart Aldcroft, Chairman of CitiTrust Limited; Karine Hirn, Partner at East Capital; and RTHK’s International Economics Correspondent Barry Wood in Washington DC.

Stewart Aldcroft, Chairman of CitiTrust, comments that blocking Google products from Huawei phones will cause the Chinese tech-giant to develop its own operating system, and if Huawei continues to be the world's largest mobile phone distributor, such a move may turn out eventually to be very bad for Google.

Talking about the Indian general election, Karine Hirn, Partner at East Capital, says that it's good news that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who's likely to be re-elected, has a big reform agenda in areas including employment and infrastructure.

RTHK’s International Economics Correspondent Barry Wood says the additional tariffs on Chinese products has made US shoe retailers come out and demand a resolution to the trade dispute, and he expects more US companies will soon raise their voices.

Mark To, Managing Director of Asset Management at Wing Fung Financial Group, is of the view that the massive stimulus on the mainland seen in the first quarter will not be sustainable.

Anthony Chan, Chief Asia Investment Strategist at Union Bancaire Privée, says that the jump in Chinese industrial production to 8.5% in March is surprising, and he forecasts that the stock market will continue to perform well despite a possible setback in the April figures.
