Today on Morning Brew and early, flutey start to the day at 9.40. One of the world's best known soloists and teachers, Trevor Wye is in town for some classes and a big, big "Carnival" concert with a difference at City Hall next week. We'll find out more. After 10, RJ Asher, Hong Kong's undisputed Pie King will join Phil and Chef, author, and taxidermist Jason Black. At 11.10 today, some opera. Nice! Opera Hong Kong is putting on "Faust" by the French composer Charles Gounod. Maestro Benjamin Pionnier will tell us about conducting this famous story of a silly boy who sold his soul to the devil. Talking of which, its top-end-rugby time after 11, with Satan McRobbie from the HKRFU. Among other things, the local boys are taking on Sri Lanka (away) very soon. After 12, a Back Chat top up with Rabbi Hugh Chiverton, ahead of Monday's program. We wrap up as usual for a Friday with Gary Pollard's movie review, at 12.40.
