Welcome to the all important Friday on Morning Brew. It’s the day of the week when we treat you to all the best in sports and film. Our team of crack experts is in the wings warming up as I speak. Danny Hicks is first up at 11.10 with this week’s edition of Sports and All. And, after 12 we’re off to the movies with MB critic James Marsh, reviewing The French Dispatch, The Power of the Dog, and The Electrical Life of Louis Wain. Marshy and Danny will be on Facebook live as usual, and they’d both love you to join them there with your comments and questions.
Today on Morning Brew, Hong Kong's hottest chefs.....will probably all be tucked up in bed. Instead, we hit the Friday kitchen with Jason Elizabeth Black, Wes Long, and "Chicken Jack" Carson. After 11, we meet top Aussie comic and TV presenter, John Robertson. A man of many other talents too, John is here for the 9th Annual HK Comedy Festival. For the final hour today it's all about film. At 12.10 we welcome director, programmer, and in this case movie restorer Bede Cheng. James Marsh wraps us up as usual for a Friday with his take on "Everest" and "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials".(9:30am - 1:00pm, , email email@example.com)
