Good morning! It's Friday on Morning Brew. Today, by the magic of radio, we're going to whiz over to San Francisco after 10 and chat with Chef Matt Dolan, live from his restaurant: Twenty-Five Lusk. Danny Hicks will be with us at 11:10 for 'Sports and All', to talk about last week's Italian Grand Prix and a plethora of other events in the realm of sports. After 12, it's Marshy Movie Time, where James Marsh brings us the best and worst of this week's cinema.
Welcome to 420 on Morning Brew. It's Steve Vines Day here in Radio Straße, so join us at 10.10 for his weekly wash up of all things "duhhh". This week: CY seeks more Guangdong ties...he's already got ones from temple street and Stanley Market, but some people are never happy. Also, a legislator's plan for an Occupy "kiss and make-up" session is retracted and also crisiticsed by the boss of the DAB as it may "undermine the rule of law". Door closing...horse bolted, Miss Lee! And, lots more juicy stuff for you. At 11.10 we meet renowned American clarinettist Professor Chad Burrow, who's here as a guest artist of this year's Intimacy of Creativity series. After 11.30 we welcome back MB's tame vet, Dr. David Gething. Today: Rabies...and how to get it. After 12, we meet Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jessica Ng, who is the first doctor recruited by the NGO "EMERGENCY". She has been in Sierra Leone for 12 months, the only orthopedic surgeon in the whole country, and has quite a few stories to share (9:30am-1pm, email email@example.com )
