Welcome to Wednesday on Morning Brew. Our friend Janice Jensen from Nevis Animal Speak is still in the recovery hutch wearing a cone of shame after being unwell, so she’ll be back with us next week. Get well very soon, Janice. At 10.40 we meet artist Philip Colbert who’s here all the way from Scotland for an exhibition. He’s been championed as a contemporary pop master by prominent figures such as Charles Saatchi and Simon De Pury, and is frequently referred to as the godson of Andy Warhol. At 11.10 we'll meet Happy Gabby, or her creator at least, author Joanne Chan. Happy Gabby is the child in everyone, endlessly curious about reading, music, and culture. She's proving to be quite the hit and very effective in teaching and inspiring children. After 11.30 RTL France’s Philippe Dova will be back with more reports of all things French here, plus of course music from more aging French rockers. Our Pilates classes will resume next week..(9:30am-1pm, email firstname.lastname@example.org )
Welcome to a new week on Morning Brew. We’ll begin at 10.10 with our weekly rugby report from Robbie McRobbie. Today he reports live from Scotland...where it will be 2 in the morning. He’s currently wide awake wondering what he’d do if he ever suffered from insomnia. At 10.40 (for this week) Dr. Merrin Pearse will be with us for his regular eco-bit. The Royal Commonwealth Society is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year with...a cricket match, in fact the Commonwealth Cricket Cup, this coming weekend. Its Chairman Peter Mann joins us after 11. At 12.10 we welcome Nanjing based British artist Bill Aitchison to the programme. He’ll tell you all about his current exhibition here called Quick Fix.
