Welcome to the second day of autumn (apparently) on Morning Brew. Journo and broadcaster Jarrod Watt joins us after 10.30 for all things Australian, including a couple of classic songs and a brand new release. At 11.10 Dr. Merrin Pearse has his weekly eco chat. It’s all about freshwater, with last Sunday being World Rivers Day. Morris Miselowski will be with us at 12.10 on the line from Melbourne, with more biz futurism. We have some gadget talk plus a robot fish that is propelled by shooting water out of the most obvious place possible (if you’re a 10 year old school boy). (9:30am-1pm, email email@example.com )
It’s Fryday on Morning Brew, so at 10.10 we land in Durban, South Africa to wake up Chef Jason Black (Empire HK). After 11, motor sport, but of a very different kind. We’ll find out about the Formula Student Electric China Competition which is going on in Zhuhai this week. We meet some of the guys from The University of Bath, which is the only UK team to be invited. After 11.30, China In Print: The Hong Kong rare book, print, and map fair. This is happening at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, and we meet its Director, Andrea Mazzocchi. At 12.10 we are off to the movies with reviewer James Marsh. Join us on Facebook Live.
