Mark Rawson – Musician and producer / Danny Hicks – Sports news / Paul Roth – Singer-songwriter / James Marsh – Films

Good morning. It's Friday on Morning Brew, and the day of the week when we start with a handful of great tracks from Hong Kong bands and artists. Producer and musician Mark Rawson will be with us at 10.10 for a listen to some recent work by Hybrid Stereo, Murphy’s law, Flying daggers, and Kowloon Tram. Most of the music we hear in this little session each week is new, and has been recorded and produced in the 'bedrooms and kitchens' of Hong Kong (obvious reasons). At 11.10 Danny Hicks will be with you for this week's 'Sports and All'. He's still busy reporting on the Australian Open for AFP, so likely today will come to you in steam-audio only. As well as tennis, he'll have a 2022 Winter Olympics preview, and most likely some football news. At 11.40, a musical coffee break with singer-songwriter Paul Roth. A regular MB minstrel, Paul will be singing a couple of songs 'live' to help your Friday along. And, after 12 it's Marshy Movie Time. Join James on Facebook live too, for his streaming hits and misses of the week.

Colin Whittington and Rod Dixon – China Coast Marathon / Philippe Dova – RTL Correspondent / Chris Watts – Motion Dynamics

    主持人:Phil Whelan

Welcome to Wednesday on Morning Brew. After 11 today we’ll find out about this weekend’s China Coast Marathon. Along with organiser Colin Whittington, we meet legendary marathon runner Rod Dixon. Rod is probably best remembered for winning the 1983 New York City Marathon, where at half way he was over two minutes behind the leaders. Among many other accolades, at the age of 21 Rod won a bronze medal in the 1500m at the 1972 Olympics in Munich. After 11.30 RTL France’s Hong Kong Correspondent Philippe Dova returns. Fresh from his trip to Japan covering the Carlos Ghosn case he’ll bring us more stories and his usual taste of musical France. The Pilates Athlete Jason Clark is still away converting the world, so at 12.40 we welcome back Mr. Motion Dynamics Chris Watts, who’s just discovered the world of endurance motor sport.
