Welcome to your pre-rat Fryday on Morning Brew. At 9.40 today our better late than never trip to the sunny Caribbean to catch up with Janice Jensen from Nevis Animal Speak. At 10.10 we’ll find out how they do Lunar New Year in South Carolina (USA), as we welcome back Chef Wes Long, live from his kitchen at the swanky Harbour Club in Charleston. After 12 we’re off to the movies with James Marsh. Join him on Facebook Live for all this week’s hits and misses, including Dolittle, Spies in Disguise, and Enter the Fat Dragon. Also we'll be remembering the late, great Terry Jones.

Esther Roling – Coasteering adventurer / Paul French – Strangers on The Praia / Morris Miselowski – Business Futurist / Palle Bo – The Radio Vagabond

    主持人:Phil Whelan

Happy Tuesday. Today on Morning Brew a couple more little changes to our norm. At 10.40 we meet coasteering adventurer Esther Roling, who wants to invite you to take part in the upcoming Adventure Clean Up Hong Kong Challenge, which begins on April 27th. It will test your athletic skills whilst you clean up some of Hong Kong’s most difficult to access coastline areas. Jarrod Watt is busy today, so he’ll be with us tomorrow instead. At 11.10, New York Times best selling Author Paul French reads episode 2 (of 4) of Strangers on The Praia. Stranded in Shanghai in World War 2, a young German Jewish refugee tries for “neutral” Macau, and perhaps a route to freedom beyond. Originally published in Cha: An Asian Literary Journal, Paul has expanded and recorded it especially for Morning Brew. Morris Miselowski joins us after 12 for a bit more business futurism. And, at 12.40 we catch up with Palle Bo, The Radio Vagabond who’s travelling the world one interview at a time. Today we’ll wake him up in his home country of Denmark.
