Welcome to Thursday on Morning Brew. It’s Steve Vines day today after 10. Will we finally see our man at a loss for words? Likely not, to be honest. After 11.30 our vet Dr. David Gething will be with us. Feel free to ask him any of your pet questions. Join Maestro JC Viens at 12.10 live from Italy, for your weekly wine class. James Ross will be with you tomorrow, as Phil is off to work at the Macau Grand Prix with racing correspondent Tim Huxley. Listen out for Tim all weekend here on Radio 3. Welcome to a new week on Morning Brew. We begin as usual with our regular rugby update from CEO of HK Rugby, Robbie McRobbie. He’s got all the latest in the local and Asian game for you. At 11.10 we’ll find out about his year’s Darkness into Light Hong Kong walk. Hong Kong’s Irish community is once again organising this huge event to show support for those who’ve been bereaved by suicide. It’s happening this coming Saturday, and we’ll find out more from two of the organisers, Brigit Mullane and Clarence Tsang (from Samaritan Befrienders HK). Join us on Facebook Live for this. After 12, we catch up with Canadian adventurer and film maker Markus Pukonen who’s travelling the world using only human power. Last time we talked he was trying to find a way across a large expanse of water. Seems he may have finally done it, but was it plain sailing ? Check out his page Routes of Change for more.
