Welcome to a new week on Morning Brew. Robbie McRobbie will be with us at 10.10 with this week’s local and (of course) World Cup rugby news. We’re off to Japan after 11, but for a slightly different reason. For a few months now we’ve been keeping up with cyclist James Owens, whose challenge was to cycle with a friend from the UK to Japan, while raising money for the charity ChildFund Pass It Back. Needless to say he made it, and we’ll have one last chat today. After 12 another MB traveller, Markus Pukonen, who is going around the world without the use of power, will join us from...well, we’ll find out. (9:30am-1pm, email firstname.lastname@example.org )
It’s Thursday again which means it’s Steve Vines day on Morning Brew. Join our resident writer of wrongs (see what we did there?) at 10.10 for his weekly look back at the political week...in awe. As always we’d love to hear from you via email. At 11.10 we’ll find out about this year’s HKFC Citi Soccer Sevens. It’s our annual date with organiser Tony Bratsanos. Today he’s joined by former Liverpool and Aston Villa striker Dean Saunders, and Premier League referee Jon Moss. Our MB vet Dr. David Gething will be back at 11.40 to answer any of your furry questions, and to talk about cat flu. Finally, wine expert JC Viens will be with us after 12 with more stories and advice. (9:30am-1pm, email email@example.com )
