Welcome to a new week on Morning Brew. Robbie McRobbie will be with us at 10.10 with this week’s local and (of course) World Cup rugby news. We’re off to Japan after 11, but for a slightly different reason. For a few months now we’ve been keeping up with cyclist James Owens, whose challenge was to cycle with a friend from the UK to Japan, while raising money for the charity ChildFund Pass It Back. Needless to say he made it, and we’ll have one last chat today. After 12 another MB traveller, Markus Pukonen, who is going around the world without the use of power, will join us from...well, we’ll find out. (9:30am-1pm, email email@example.com )
Welcome to Fryday on Morning Brew. Chef Neil Tomes is your short order radio cook today, after 10. Chef Jason has to go and get another tattoo. He’ll be back, with added butchness, next week. Join us on Facebook Live. After 11, and for no real reason whatsoever, country boy Michael Lance will help choose the music. Don’t forget to listen to him on Good Ol' Country with Michael Lance on RTHK Radio 3 tomorrow at 12.05. After 12 movie maestro James Marsh reports live from the Neuchatel International Fantastic Film Festival in Switzerland, where he’s a juror. (9:30am-1pm, email firstname.lastname@example.org )
