Welcome to Tuesday on Morning Brew. As you will know, our yearly charity drive Operation Santa Claus has been going for nearly a month. All in all times are quite hard this year, but some groups and businesses here keep giving, come what may. One of them is the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel. Hugh Chiverton went to their Christmas tree lighting yesterday, and at 10.10 we’ll find out what makes them keep coming back. After 10.30 Aus Boy Jarrod Watt will be with us with the latest from his home country, plus a couple of brand new tracks. At 11.10 environmentalist Dr. Merrin Pearse returns to save the planet, one plastic leaf at a time. Morris Miselowski will be with us on Thursday this week. At 12.10 today we catch up with Canadian adventurer and film maker Markus Pukonen (wherever he may be), who continues to travel around the world without the use of power.
