James Ross in for Phil this week and next, and this morning we find out about the citywide clap which is planned for tonight at 8pm. The event by the Hong Kong Community Foundation mirrors similar claps around the world, including the UK, as we salute heroes who've been working tirelessly to keep Hong Kong safe during the coronavirus crisis. Sally Lo is the founder of the Hong Kong Cancer Fund, which is supporting the event, and she'll tell us more at 10.15. After 11 we'll have the final part of Music of My Life with LEEE JOHN of 80's supergroup Imagination, and his music choices, and then after 11.30 author Christopher Dillon joins us to talk about the state of the property market here. Chris is the author of the "Landed" series of books about property, such as Landed Hong Kong and Landed Japan. After 12 James Marsh is on the show with our Friday movie and streaming extravaganza, and today he's focused on Tiger King and Freud.
Welcome to Thursday on Morning Brew. Video hasn’t quite killed the radio star, but correspondent Steve Vines is giving it a jolly good go. Join him on Facebook live from his Sai Kung lair at 10.10 for this week’s chat. After 11.30 we’ll be paying another house call to our vet Dr.David Gething. On his list today is an announcement by the government that pets do not pose any danger from coronavirus. So it seems people still think they do. We’ll wake up our wine expert JC Viens at 12.10. Join him live on the line from Italy.
