Welcome to Fryday on Morning Brew. You may have started hearing "that bird" over the past few days. The really noisey one who whistles at you at this time of the year. He's actually called the Asian Koel, and only kicks off when the yearly humidity blanket decends. Actually, if you can spot him you'll see he has blood red eyes, but his call denotes your clothes growing furry coats of their own, and your food going floppy and "off". So, today after 10, Chef Neil Tomes will tell you how to combat the slime in your kitchen, and he'll likely be halfway through baking some sourdough as well. After 11 it's Sports and All with Danny Hicks. Join him for football, cricket, and F1. And, after 12 we're off to the movies with critic James Marsh. Join us on Facebook live, throughout.

Good morning and welcome to Thursday (and sound check day...2...1...1...2...1...) on Morning Brew. Today at 10.10, commentator Steve Vines triumphantly enters the Brew House for his weekly tea leaf reading and peace agreement signing session. After 11.30 MB vet Dr. David Gething will be with us to talk about longevity. No one wants to say “goodbye” to their pets, and it seems that these days they really are naturally living longer. Of course he’d love to answer any of your questions as well. And, after 12 you can pop that cork, as JC Viens will be talking wine with us bright and early, live from Verona in Italy. Join us on Facebook live on and off throughout. (9:30am-1pm, email morningbrew@rthk.hk and Facebook)
