Good morning and welcome to Thursday. At 11.10 today our friendly neighbourhood vet Dr. David Gething will be with us once again. Today he’ll talk about the “anatomy” of furry infections, and answer any pet questions you may have as well. At 11.40 New York Times best-selling author Paul French reads the fourth and final newly recorded story (especially for Morning Brew) from his latest book “Destination Peking”. Today: “The Man Who Dreamt Up The Shanghai Express”. It is nearly time for this year’s Adventure Clean-up Challenge. In fact, it begins next Saturday. As we told you last year, this is no ordinary spring clean. Participants need several fairly specialised skills. But this year those skills will be slightly different, as the 2021 edition deals with Hong Kong’s trails. At 12.10 organiser Sole Riestra will be with us for that last minute briefing, and invitation to take part. (9:30am-1pm, email email@example.com and Facebook)
Good morning and welcome to Wednesday. We’ll start today after 10 by finding out about some art for a very good cause. The local charity Serendipity is having an exhibition of Hong Kong artists’ works next week at the HK Cultural Centre, to support low income families here. The Chair of Serendipity (and an artist herself) Alice Ngan will be with us to invite you. You’ll be able to see some of the work if you can join us on Facebook live. At 10.40 Maestro and composer Colin Touchin will be back for our weekly “classical” music chat. Today he’ll show you how music really can paint a picture. After 11.30 RTL France’s man In Hong Kong, Philippe Dova, will share this week’s Frenchness with you. And, at 12.10 it’s your Wednesday session with Chris Watts, live from his Motion Dynamics studio in Central. Join him as usual on Facebook live.
