Welcome to Thursday on Morning Brew. Commentator Steve Vines will be with us after 10 for his weekly look at the news and ... stuff. At 11.10 we’ll find out about a wonderful fund raising challenge called HIKE FOR FREEDOM. Hikers Joe Lodder and Catherine Cormack, who both live on Lantau, are currently in the process of a four day hike over 300km in distance with 18,600m of elevation. The message is simple; people should be free and animals shouldn’t be abandoned. Catherine and Joe are raising money for two wonderful charities; STOP trafficking of people, and TAILS Lantau. We’ll catch them mid-journey this morning. After 11.30 our weekly house call with vet Dr. David Gething. Today is very topical (geddit?), as he’ll talk about vaccinations. And, after 12 we welcome back Maestro JC Viens, for some wine talk, live from Italy.
