Jarrod Watt – Aussie journalist / Merrin Pearse – Sustainabilist / Morris Miselowski – Business futurism

Welcome to Tuesday. Firstly today, the latest from currently landlocked Australia. Our boy Jarrod Watt will be with us at 10.40 for this week’s news and music. After 11 Dr. Merrin Pearse will talk about fireflies. He will be joined by firefly specialist Vor Yiu, who is a biology teacher at Ho Koon Nature Education Centre, and Chairman of the Hong Kong Entomological Society. At 12.10 we’re off to Melbourne for some more biz futurism with Morris Miselowski. Today we’ll talk about some of the most simple yet brilliant inventions of our times, and the impact they have had on current technology. A few days ago the man who accidentally invented the Post-it note in 1977, died. These little pieces of paper undoubtedly revolutionised our organisational skills, but what was the knock-on effect in recent times? You see where we are going with this. Stick around for more with Morris.
