Welcome to Friday on Morning Brew. Today is officially the first day of the Summer Olympics, so at 9.40 Danny Hicks will join us live from Tokyo for the first of what will be his daily Morning Brew reports. These games will not be fading from memory anytime soon, but let’s hope it’s more for what happens “on the field” rather than anything else. Danny will be bringing you the latest throughout. After 12 we’re off to the movies with our MB critic James Marsh. As always you can join in with Marshy Movie Time on Facebook live.
Welcome to Wednesday on Morning Brew. It’s ‘classical’ music day with composer and conductor Colin Touchin. Join him at 10.40. The world of famous composers is not all about wandering lonely as a cloud whilst thinking about fluffy unicorns. Some of these guys met very sticky ends. We are talking about murders, disease, poverty… the works. He’ll be telling us about some of these unfortunates today. After 11.30 RTL France’s Philippe Dova will be with us, live from Paris, for his weekly chat and music spot. At 12.10 we’re off to meet Chris Watts at his Motion Dynamics studio in Central. Today he’ll be talking about the specialist work he’s been doing with an Olympic sailor. Join Chris on Facebook live.
