Good morning! Welcome to a new week on Morning Brew. At 10:10, we'll receive our weekly dose of rugby news from Robbie McRobbie. After that, our New York correspondent Tracy Quan will take us to the Cooper-Hewitt Museum at the Smithsonian, plus we've got book club and other assorted bits as well from the Big Apple. After 11:30, we're gonna meet bilingual actor, singer, and composer Micah Sandt, who's starring in "The Bonn Man" this Saturday, with the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong. It's the story of Beethoven's battle with deafness, as told by his right-hand man, Ferdinand Ries. After 12, we'll chat with Neil Runcieman, who's joining us live from Ho Chi Minh City.
Good morning and welcome to Thursday on Morning Brew. It’s day 6 of the Tokyo Olympics, and Danny Hicks will be reporting live at 9.40 from Sakado City (70km from Tokyo), which is the venue for the golf. The weather has been hot and extremely wet, with a huge downpour last night. Danny will tell us how that affects today’s competitions. After 11 our vet Dr. David Gething will be with us to answer more of your pet questions, and to bring up a couple of very important topics of his own, including… doggy dreams. At 12.10 we have some live music and an invitation to attend ‘What the Folk HK’ from our friend, and guitar slinging minstrel, Paul Roth.
