Jarrod Watt - Aussie journo / Dr Merrin Pearse and Cesar Jung-Harada - The Ocean Imagineer / Morris Miselowski - Future of transport

Good morning and welcome to Tuesday on Morning Brew. It’s our Aussie day of the week again, which will be kicked off in style with our in house fangin’ hoon, Jarrod Watt. He’ll have all this week’s news from Down Under plus some great Australian tunes. At 11.40, a little later than normal, Dr. Merrin Pearse will be talking with Cesar Jung-Harada, who is the artist researcher behind ‘The Ocean Imagineer’, a floating oyster hatchery and solar hydrogen production plant in North Point. After 12 biz futurist Morris Miselowski joins us live from Melbourne. Today we have a little on the future of transport, as it’s the anniversary of the opening of the Erie Canal, and the launch of Pan American Airlines. Oh, and a hyper-sonic space plane called “Sexbomb”. Also he wants to mention the post COVID ‘employment churn’.

Good morning! Welcome to a new week on Morning Brew. At 10:10, we'll receive our weekly dose of rugby news from Robbie McRobbie. After that, our New York correspondent Tracy Quan will take us to the Cooper-Hewitt Museum at the Smithsonian, plus we've got book club and other assorted bits as well from the Big Apple. After 11:30, we're gonna meet bilingual actor, singer, and composer Micah Sandt, who's starring in "The Bonn Man" this Saturday, with the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong. It's the story of Beethoven's battle with deafness, as told by his right-hand man, Ferdinand Ries. After 12, we'll chat with Neil Runcieman, who's joining us live from Ho Chi Minh City.
