James Ross is in for Phil today on Morning Brew. We kick off after 10 by getting out on the trails. Our guests are Janet Ng and Steve Brammar, the co-founders of the Hong Kong 100 Ultra Marathon. Janet is also President of the ITRA - International Trail Running Association. This year's normal HKG100 has been cancelled, but there's a special version happening at the moment. We'll find out all about that. After 11.30 we've all things French with RTL France's Philippe Dova. And after 12 we dive into the world of property. Author Christopher Dillon who wrote the 'Landed' series of property books including 'Landed Hong Kong', 'Landed Japan', and so on, joins us to take a view on the market for 2022. All that and the best in music until 1pm.
Good morning and welcome to Monday. At 10.10 Morning Brew’s week begins, as usual, with Robbie McRobbie’s medium level rugby report. At 10.40 we’ll catch up with columnist, author, and New York correspondent, Tracy Quan. At 11.40 we welcome classical guitar virtuoso Xuefei Yang back to the The Brew. She’s in Hong Kong again for a recital, tomorrow night, of Spanish, Chinese, and Latin music. At 12.40 we’ll return to Tai Tam Country Park to catch up with adventurer Paul Niel and the team from Project Avenger. As their hunt for the remains of a downed Second World War American plane draws to a close, we’ll see what they have uncovered since we spoke last week.
