Weekday programme Morning Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from earnest current affairs to cookery to the arts.
Catch it live:
Monday to Friday 9.30am - 1pm
Welcome to Friday. Today is ‘made in Hong Kong’ music day on Morning Brew. Mark Rawson is still away on his travels, so at 10.10 we’ll welcome the one and only John Prymmer to The Brew to choose the best in local sounds. At 11.10 Danny Hicks brings you this week’s 'Sports and All'. And then, after 12 it’s Marshy Movie Time. MB movie critic James Marsh will look from on high at the week in film and streamers. As usual you can join in with Marshy, and Danny, on Facebook live.
Welcome to Tuesday and our (mostly) Aussie day on Morning Brew. Jarrod Watt will be with us after 10.30 with the latest scores on the doors from Down Under, and a handful of great tracks. At 11.10 we welcome, for the first time, our New Zealand eco-correspondent. Well, nearly new, as from now on that is where Dr. Merrin Pearse will be based, having departed Hong Kong for good a week ago. After 12, we’ll go a few miles up the road to catch up with biz futurist Morris Miselowski. Now, be honest, in the cold, hard light of day, do you really, genuinely know what a NFT is? Join the club. Well, it has value, among other things you can listen to it, and many really do see it as the future. Best we leave any further explanation of this to Morris.
