Welcome to Tuesday on Morning Brew. Ahead of a huge week Down Under, Jarrod Watt will bring you this week's Aussieness at 10.10, with more great tracks and his pick of the news. At 11.40 Dr. Merrin Pearse will be live from New Zealand, discussing how art can help share environmental messages. He'll be joined by Michelle Fung, an artist who works on an environmental art project set in the year 2084. Join them on Facebook live. At 12.10 we're off to Melbourne to talk with biz futurist Morris Miselowski. Kind of carrying on from last week, Morris will talk about 'synbio', or synthetic biology, which is his current muse. It sounds amazing, but needless to say there are many 'cons', as it can involve things like embryo editing, and use in bioweaponry. Once again... horrible humans!

Good morning and welcome to Monday on Morning Brew. HK Rugby’s CEO Robbie McRobbie will bring you the all important (maybe slightly abridged) rugby news at 10.10. At 10.40, our weekly trip to New York to catch up with correspondent, columnist, and best selling author Tracy Quan. At 11.40 today, we’ll meet another author; Chris Maden. Set in Hong Kong in the 1960s, his latest novel “Price’s Price’ is the story of ‘the unmaking of an immaculate scoundrel’. Oh, there were plenty of those here in that decade, but what made Stanley Price so special for Chris? We’ll find out. At 12.40 today we’re Vietnam bound for our second January date with Bureau Chief-at-large Neil Runcieman. Join Neil on Facebook live, as he reports today… from the seaside. (9:30am-1pm, email morningbrew@rthk.hk and Facebook).
