Good morning and welcome to Tuesday on Morning Brew. After 10 today Jarrod Watt will give us this week’s spoonful of Aussieness, complete with a new track from iconic Australian rockers Midnight Oil. At 11.10 we’ll go out and meet Dr. Merrin Pearse. Today he’s joined by Dana Winograd from Plastic Free Seas, who will talk about the black rubber that has been washing up on a beach in DIscovery Bay. After 12 biz futurist Morris Miselowski joins us from Melbourne for this week’s technological coin-flip. We’ll look at the future of office culture. It’s frequently said these days that we’ve learned to work so much more effectively recently “on the go”. But, is it for everyone? Some people seem to need the 9-5, four walls and a desk culture to quantify “work”. So where will this satellite/multi tasking approach leave them? Finally at 12.40, best selling author Paul French will give us a sunrise over Sussex, as he joins us live from the UK to talk about his recent SCMP piece on what he calls Hong Kong’s “year from hell”... 1937.
