    The Saturday Squad

Today on the Saturday Squad we'll be learning about public health and sanitation in less-developed countries. November 19 is World Toilet Day -- so designated by the United Nations -- and Annalie will be speaking to the founder of the World Toilet Organisation, Jack Sim, to find out more about their international programmes. That's after 9. We'll also be bringing you live updates throughout the show from the Macau Grand Prix. Our reporter Tim Huxley and producer Phil Whelan are over there following all the action. And that's in addition to our weekly catch-up with sports correspondent Danny Hicks! (Saturday, 9am-12nn)

This week on the Saturday Squad we're talking about conservation work. Every year, the Ocean Park Conservation Foundation’s University Student Sponsorship Programme gives a selected group of Hong Kong students the opportunity to have on-field experience at various locations in Asia. At 9.30, Annalie talks to David Cheung and Kason Chu, two university students who took part in a research project on Vietnamese giant land snails.

Next: Hong Kong is in the process of being transformed into a smart city. But what does that mean? At 10.30, we learn about business management in a smart city with Francois Chabaudie, CEO of NEOMA, a Hong Kong-based company that created Gaia, the world’s first artificial intelligence staff assistant for facility management.

And after 11, it’s sports with Danny Hicks!
