Paul and Carolyn (AKA the Pop Fugitives) are plotting to make their Escape every Sunday morning between 9 and 1.
Join them on the Sunday Escape to hear the best in new music, including three tracks from their album of the week, along with a carefully curated selection of classics, plus interviews with guests from all over the city and beyond. There’s also occasional live music in the studio and all the details of upcoming music events in Hong Kong.
On top of all that is “Biscuit Review”, now a Sunday Escape institution, a feature perfectly designed to complement the most eclectic mix of music on Radio 3.

Having survived the first week of 2021, Paul and Carolyn return for the Sunday Escape, chock filled with all the best new music including new tracks from Kings of Leon, deadmau5 and Nation of Language, plus an album of the week and whatever else has been rocking in Pop Fugitives HQ.
It’s quite an odd week for new music, not least given that a David Bowie jazz tribute album has been released, so in homage to this there’ll be a look at some of the weirder records in Paul and Carolyn’s record collection, as well as tributes that don’t quite work. There’s also a new Super Clever Music Mystery Quiz plus all the usual nonsense including but not limited to biscuits!
