主持人:Paul Haswell and Carolyn Wright
Paul and Carolyn (AKA the Pop Fugitives) are plotting to make their Escape every Sunday morning between 9 and 1.
Join them on the Sunday Escape to hear the best in new music, including three tracks from their album of the week, along with a carefully curated selection of classics, plus interviews with guests from all over the city and beyond. There’s also occasional live music in the studio and all the details of upcoming music events in Hong Kong.
On top of all that is “Biscuit Review”, now a Sunday Escape institution, a feature perfectly designed to complement the most eclectic mix of music on Radio 3.

The Sunday Escape returns with Paul and Carolyn’s run through all the best new music of the week and beyond, with eagerly awaited new tracks from Father John Misty, The Smile (which is a band made up of members of Radiohead), Let’s Eat Grandma, and Alt-J. On the albums front there are new long players from The Weeknd, Dope Lemon and seemingly lots of deluxe edition reissues of albums that came out last year. One of the genuinely new ones should make album of the week, plus there’s a new album of the week. The week also sees the debut of a new feature, “Sweeping The Nation”, where the Pop Fugitives play tracks from those bands which never quite made it and deserved more success.
On top of all that there are all the usual features, with a carefully curated and fiendish Super Clever Music Mystery Quiz, a chosen label of the week plus (naturally) biscuits. Tune in from 9am to 1pm on RTHK Radio 3.
