Every weekday from noon, The Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music.
Today on The Brew, we're looking at our oceans from a completely different perspective at 12:10, as Doug Woodring from Ocean Recovery Alliance joins us to introduce his latest endeavour, 'The Dried Ocean Menu.' This eye-opening project reveals a future where we have fished the oceans so completely empty that normal seafood no longer exists, leaving us with a lifeless ecosystem where the only things left to harvest are jellyfish, or where we are forced to look inland for protein sources like bugs and spiders. Then at 1:25, we're live with Danny Hicks for Sports and All, looking ahead to the upcoming weekend action, and wrapping up a massive week in English football. Join Danny, and Doug, on Facebook live if you can
