    This week World Vibes has two musical themes on offer ! First our Featured Newly Released Musical Album from Franco-Algerian 'Kingston-sur-Loire' Reggae artiste Brahim !     Our featured album starts off with Nairobi based AfroPop vocalist trio plus guitarist Sauti Sol (Kenya), then our first track from our new featured album 'Ainsi vivent les hommes' (So live men) the latest and fifth studio album from Tours based Reggae artiste Brahim Mahrez aka Brahim (France-Algeria), then in between more album tracks we hear new creations from North Ontario based Francophone ElectroRootsPop duo De Flore (Canada), multilingual multigenre Berklee College of Music graduate Saifa (Guyana), Erfurt based ElectroPopReggae DJ Clueso (Germany), Sète based lyrical sextet Zoufris Maracas (France), and after one more track from our featured album we end the first hour with a multilingual CongoRumbaRap tribute to African Success from Badi & Boddhi Satva (Congo-Belgium-Central African Rep). New musical ideas and inspirations, enjoy !
    Our second hour starts off with new sounds from sizzling ElectroAfroLatinoCumbiaMerengueBeat sibling duo Sotomayor (Mexico), then our first track from 'Kingston-sur-Loire' Tours based Reaggae artiste Brahim's latest and our Featured Album, and in between succesive album tracks we sample new creations from TransAtlantic Montréal based ElectroGrooveHipHop DJ duo Of Course producing Parisian William Maurer aka Oré (Canada-France), a doubly posthumous release from two African Giants, recently deceased Afrobeat co-creator Tony Allen and AfroJazz trumpeter Hugh Masakela (Nigeria-South Africa), a return from the Corrège 'heart-on-their-sleeve' trio Trois Cafés Gourmands (France), AfroPop Queen meets AfroVoodoon Diva with Yemi Alade & Angélique Kidjo (Nigeria-Benin-US), ending the hour and the show with our last 'love addiction' Reggae track from our featured album.

    Raspigaous LP & Hot New Hits !

    This week World Vibes has two musical themes of note ! First our featured album celebrating the twentieth career anniversary of Marseilles based Reggae Big Band ‘Raspigaous’ ! And a selection of Hot New Tracks from a surprising number of places on the planet ! Click on ‘World Vibes’ above for details.

    Our first hour starts with a pro-environment composition from Sao Paolo based Rael (Brazil), then our first track off our featured album ‘Nouvel R’ (New Reggae Airs) from Lionel Achenga led Raspigaous (France), then in between album tracks we hear more new sounds from latina proud Jennifer Lopez (US), stunning Jazzed-up Cumbia from Roberto Fonseca (Cuba), emo tribute to ‘mother’ from actor M. Pokora (France), and after one particular inspired tribute to their native city of Marseilles from our featured album, we end the first hour with a prosaic love balad from Montreal based Pierre Lapointe (Canada). New inspired sounds and creations, enjoy !
    Our second hour continues with our two musical themes, starting with a new ‘Afrobeat meets Harlem’ duet between Seyi Shay & Teyana Taylor (UK-Nigeria-US), then our next Beat based track form our featured Big Band Reggae album ‘Nouvel R’ from Raspigaous, and in between more album tracks we hear new sounds from international Big Band outfit Sir Jean & NMB Afrobeat Experience (France-Namibia-US), Reggaeton love from CNCO & Manuel Turizo (US-Colombia), well crafted Raio Pop from newcomer Elisa Erka (France), a girl with her ways from duetting Sofia Reyes & Jhay Cortes (Mexico-Puerto Rico), and after one last ‘mould breaking’ track from our featured album, we end the hour and the show with an acoustic ArabFolk track from Paris based Souad Massi (Algeria). Quircky, unpredictable and different new sounds, enjoy !
