The Chief Executive, John Lee, delivered his 2023 policy address last October. It covered many areas of society that he sought to improve, enhance, or change. In this new series, with the help of several senior government officials, Dr. Eugene Chan will take stock of the visible results so far, while getting some of the personal views and aspirations of his guests.
This week, in part one, Eugene's guest is the Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Chris Sun.

You can easily find them online by looking at the websites of our universities, societies, and libraries. We've chosen ten for you to listen to here on Radio 3. For the next few Sunday mornings at 7.30, Carol Mang will be introducing abridged versions of what we think are a great selection of talks for you to listen to and indulge your... Mind Matters.
In this week's episode, we will look into China’s post office. The make of it traces the origins and early development of the country’s modern postal system and goes beyond the bounds of institutional history to explore the political manoeuvrings, economic imperatives, and societal pressures both inhibiting and driving forward postal development. Dr. Weipin Tsai from University of London was invited by the University of Hong Kong to give a talk entitled “The Making of China’s Post Office: Sovereignty, Modernization, and the Connection of a Nation”.
Sundays from 7.30am to 8am... on Radio 3
This week, Colin crams a busy basket of Easter treats into a colourful half-hour of vintage gold. From Bing Crosby to Mel Blanc. From Carmen Mcrae to Phil Harris. There are plenty of top tunes and some cheeky fun to add to your long weekend.
Sundays from 8.30am to 9am... only on Radio 3
It’s an Easter Sunday Escape this week, meaning that as well as playing the best in new and independent music Paul and Carolyn will be trying to find some Easter songs to go with the new tracks from Marina Allen, Frank Turner, Eels, Fat White Family, Rose Hotel, John Cale, and Mary In The Junkyard. There’s also a collaboration between Blondshell and Bully, and although it’s a quieter week for new albums this week there'll be music from LPs by Chastity Belt and Ride. There’ll also be plenty of older tracks too.
With the Hong Kong Sevens just around the corner, you can hear Paul and Carolyn’s interview with grammy award nominated musician Aston Barrett Jr of The Wailers, talking about the band’s forthcoming shows at the Sevens and Hong Kong Observation Wheel as well as Aston’s appearance in the movie Bob Marley: One Love.
On top of all that the usual features return, with a Karen O cover of a Smashing Pumpkins song as part of the Sunday Cover Supplement, a rather tragic Sweeping The Nation, another Super Clever Music Mystery Quiz and naturally some Easter biscuits.
Tune in on Sunday from 9.05am to 1pm.
