The rebroadcast last month of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra + Herbert von Karajan 1959 HK concert at the Lee Theatre has generated quite a few positive comments from listeners.

As a producer, it reminded me of the time we were broadcasting live concerts. The commentary, the music, the interviews, and the applause. All have inspired me to think about how to make a concert broadcast work best. Hopefully it can be displayed to you in the near future when the social distancing measures are lifted soon.

Programme includes works by Beethoven and the Strauss family. On top of music, we also hear an introduction (in Cantonese) by music historian Oliver Chou about that glorious event in Hong Kong, the live English commentary then, and interviews of VPO musicians.

上月，我們播出1959年卡拉揚領導維也納愛樂樂團，在利舞臺演出的現場錄音，引來不少迴響。
