This year, the concert celebrates the festive season as well as commemorating the 250th anniversary of Handel ’ s passing along with these seasonal delights, we ’ re promised other surprises at the concert.


This year, two youth groups will join the combined choir, which are Hong Kong Youth Choir (HKYC) and Hong Kong Young People ’ s Chorus (HKYPC)
In addition to these two groups of young singers, four choirs from local secondary schools and a tertiary institute will join this festive event. The massed choirs will join four renowned soloists: soprano Yuki Ip, alto Carol Lin, tenor Oliver Lo, bass Brian Montgomery, and the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong under Colin Touchin. We invite you to celebrate Christmas with us in the beautiful surroundings of Olympic Square, Hong Kong Park, during the magic twilight hours on Christmas Eve!


去年平安夜，指揮杜程在香港公園帶來火熱的南美音樂；今年在同一地點、同一時段，卻有不一樣的作品。為紀念韓德爾逝世二百五十年，我們會送上韓德爾《彌賽亞》的精彩選段，康納的《聖誕序曲》和全新的《聖誕套曲 2009 》，還有更多的驚喜 ????


今年，大會邀請了兩隊由年青人組成的合唱團加入合唱行列，他們分別是香港青唱和香港新青年合唱團、除了兩隊充滿活力的合唱團外，四隊來自學界的合唱團也加入。陣容鼎盛的第四台節日合唱團將聯同女高音葉葆菁、女低音連皓忻、男高音盧思彥和男低音孟浩文，加上杜程指揮的香港城市室樂團，在黃昏時份、鳥語花香的香港公園奧林匹克廣場內，獻上韓德爾的神劇《彌賽亞》的精彩片段，並與你同唱聖誕頌歌。誠邀你加入這個普天同慶的行列！
